About Me

Monica E. Simmons is a Texas-based author who resides near Dallas with her husband (and former tennis pro) James Simmons.  

 

With a background in sales and marketing, she began her writing career with, I Have a Complex, But I’m Managing It! (2018). a compilation of true, day-in-the-life stories about working in the property management business, published in 2018.  She is currently working on I Have a Complex, II.

 

Shortly thereafter, Ms. Simmons penned It Happened in The Hill Country, an action-packed, love story set in the amazing Texas Hill Country, not far from where she spent much of her time as an adolescent.

 

The 30-Love (Charlie Valdez trilogy) books are loosely based on her life with an emphasis on faith, family and friends—oh, and of course, tennis! 

 

An avid reader, Ms. Simmons also enjoys spending time with James, her grown sons and daughter-in-law and her dog Abby the Vizsla.
